Epic Kirra courtesy Cyclone Alfred

Incredible relentless 8ft lines hitting Kirra on tuesday the 4th of March, the swell is from cyclone Alfred and was about 500 kilometres off our coast.
The cat 2 cyclone is now moving toward the coast. The last cyclone to cross the coast was cyclone Zoe in 1974.
This bloke filmed the action live for 5 hours and 20 minutes.
Saw one surfer get barreled 3 times on one wave.

It looks like the whole coast is getting lit up, good swell up Sunshine too apparently? Sounds like a LOT of rain soon though, stay safe over there.
