Incredible relentless 8ft lines hitting Kirra on tuesday the 4th of March, the swell is from cyclone Alfred and was about 500 kilometres off our coast.
The cat 2 cyclone is now moving toward the coast. The last cyclone to cross the coast was cyclone Zoe in 1974.
This bloke filmed the action live for 5 hours and 20 minutes.
Saw one surfer get barreled 3 times on one wave.

It looks like the whole coast is getting lit up, good swell up Sunshine too apparently? Sounds like a LOT of rain soon though, stay safe over there.
