Hmm, looks promising. Have e-mailed G. Loher about at least getting additive F in the S. hemi but no reply - so probably not. I’d be interested to try this stuff.
That is a surfacing agent but one for powder coatings. I’ve looked into a number of like products but never found one adaquate for surfboard use. So we invented our own. As for export to Aus. I’m still working on that and I’m sure will have something soon. The surf distributors still just don’t beleive in epoxy and are shy about putting effort there. Seems almost unbeleivable to me that most surf material distributors still don’t sell epoxies.
i figured with the advent of those Salomon S-Core boards down there that epoxy would gain popularity…guess not.

We can’t get enough S-Cores to keep in stock at the shop I work at-
I just got one myself… so far I like it.
The local surfhop had some in stock also, not anymore so I guess they sold. Dunno anyone who bought them as they was the equivalent of $1250. In addition they had poor finnish, you could really see the scratches from the sanding of the foam on the deck in the nose. Who buy these boards?

ours are €750! weve only sold one and we are the only shop that have them in ireland
man sometimes i just want to drop the names so crew could realise whos been trying to pull the wool over everyones eyes …
early 90s , was getting sick of having so many different suppliers , i knew exactly what i wanted as far as specific brands of resin , eps , skin materials , etc …
i asked one of my regular standard surfboard industry wholesale suppliers to stock all this stuff for me so it would be a one stop shop …
his reply " if i stocked any epoxy related stuff ___________ would pull my blank account from me and i would lose my living , just coz i stocked you , so its not worth my while "
what was __________ so worried about that he would threaten a reseller if they sold epoxy related products , anyone would think he was worried people wouldnt buy urethane blanks and polyester resin anymore if they found out the truth …
surely the regular suppliers still cant be pulling the same tactics ??
