Epoxy Awaaah Yeah!

Got to ride my newest shape. 6’5" eggy style. Much thanks to all for the help (Noodle, Herb, Peter, Buddah, on and on). I don’t know how epoxy is for bigger boards (longboard/big egg) but I found no real drawback to the lessened flex and all the rewards of the added float, strength, and the light weight. For all those out there who are on the fence as to wether or not to try it, I would suggest you try it. The only thing I would have done different would be to thin the rails out a little more. My blank was 6’6" at 2.5" thick so I carried the thickness out to the rails because I was unsure of the added float of eps. It makes the board want to sit on top of the water and takes a little more effort to bury the rail for a turn/cutback. But for the first try, I am stoaked. I won’t be doing any polys for awhile. Oh yeah I set it up with Herb’s supercharger fins, it hauls down the line. Thanks Herb.

Oh yeah I set it up with Herb’s supercharger fins, it hauls down the line. > Thanks Herb… …Mike d., you should be recieving the new ones soon, they are the same template as the last,a set of greenies, and orange tints… …Also,Tom Sterne,a set of blue glitters(still working on getting the glitter right),and a set of orange tints in the “twinnies”.Tuna, you ended up with a set of green tint “twinnies”…I also added some stickers from various vendors to the packages… …Rabbit, you are getting a set of “twinnies” in smoke glitter, and a set in orange tip forwards…Let me know guys(when you get them, and if you like them),I can’t make progress without your help,Thanks.Herb.

Thanks so much Herb. Which template is the tip forward? From the sheet that came with the last set, it looked like a got the template #4. Can these be used tip forward? Just checking, some times I am not too bright. Thanks again.
