Epoxy glassing in hot garage

Good memory, some were Scott’s (he was about 15 at the time) and a couple for ‘‘air 360’’ Holeman. I remember being in awe of the fact that you were cooking up in resin in thermal reactors right there on site. I think by the end of that summer you were in your (then new) building on Tomahawk, correct?

Damn we’ve been doing this a long time…

And it all started in a hot garage.

Thanks for posting the link ChrisP. I disagree with everything Everysurfer has posted as a tip or trick.....and the guy makes nice stuff. I've seen his boards. We just walk on different paths.

Stingray

Hi Chris,

How can anybody have a pissing contest with someone as cool as Ray?  Besides his finishes are way better than mine.

Thanks for the tips! Have not checked out stingrays thread but will do!

Horrible pic but here she is after fill coat. Dried up nicely. My technique needs work but for a first (really second) attempt… I am proud of it! The makita 9227c is def my fave tool I’ve picked up this far!

On to fins tmrw no idea what im doing so will be reading and tinkering. Got 4 days off this week. Planets aligned or something! Thank you humbly for all the great wisdom you share!

Everything?  =)

hahaha

that’s funny.

amazing how disagreement doesn’t have to turn into an ugly pissing contest huh?!?!

am I really on swaylocks?

I’d be stoked to make boards half as nice as either of you guys

Mike

When Bert was on sways i always had mysteries to think about. Now, with Bert gone, and Coil instead, i have newer even better mysteries to ponder. I follow your every move here Mr tough guy!

So, how hot is that than? Or is that a secret too?

Wouter

Hey W! Our mysteries are much better than Bert’s, because we’re way past that cored-skin stuff:-)
