my hardener has crystalised!
rang up the company and they said to put it into warm water, this worked to a certain extent, but not all of it and as soon as it cooled it all crystalised again
any help?

I have had the same problem with RR resin, the hardner was ok, in the last 2 batches (see posting) You need to melt it in boiling water and keep it at room temperature therafter. The lams are OK but the hot coat is crap. I contacted Greg and gave him the supplier details, but got no response.
It helps to get the blank and everything else to the same temp before lamming or hotcoating.
Hey paul, had the same problem but the resin and the hardner crystalized. tried melting with boiling water ,didnt work. Wont be buying rr again. Dont get me wrong im not slagging RR but just dont think its suited to our colder climate. Ive been using marine epoxy and had no probs just a little yellow but over balsa this looks fine.
its not RR im using its french p-10 epoxy have had it a while and the epoxy is fine just the hardener im having problems with!
bit of a pain really as i have about 2 ltrs of epoxy left
got enough out of the hardener to glass the bottom but after warming it up it gelled in around 15 mins only just got the laps sorted
and they dont sell seperate hardener!
