Looking for a simple way to tint epoxy resin.

 

After a dark colour, a black or a deep blue purple...just want to hide whats underneath - have a great old board i have restored and i just want to do a layer of 6oz over the top.

 

Just want to get a little more life out of a board so not worried about a huge lifespan, it will only be ridden maybee a few times a month when conditions are right - more aesthetics really.

You tint epoxy just like polyester. w/ oil based pigments. 

There is no difference

Go to any marine supply store that sells fiberglass resin and look for coloring agent . Comes in small squeeze tubes. It is also known as pigment. Do not ask ask for “tint”.
