Epoxy trouble with water based paint

Hi!

I’ve made a little mistake on my first board. Now i need a little help to same my “little” creature…

i’ve painted my board with water based acrylic paint after the hotcoat. To save my work i’ve decided to gloss coat it but the resin won’t work well. I’ve already read all the topic about this, but (due to my poor english ) i don’t know what to do.

 

I thought to use a little layer of trasparent over the paint before gloss coat but i don’t know if it can work better.

What i have to do to make possible to glossing it?

Se non sbaglio, l’epoxy dovrebbe andar bene sopra acrilico.  Hai fatto una prova con un po di resina? Proverei un “test.”   E se fossi io, gratterei un pochettino con carta vertrata prima di stendere la resina (ovviamente senza tirar via l’immagine).  Avvertenza- poi, per rendere la tavola veramente “glossy” ci vuole un sacco di lavoro.  Vedi il mio thread “The Giant Squid.”
