I have an epoxy board that’s yellowing in a streak from a logo ending in a brown splotchy area (see pics). Any ideas why the resin would yellow unevenly like this?
water contamination…you got a leak! Looks like a leak under that decal. What’s the decal hiding? water will wick along the wood…acts like a tree…go figure wood and all.
Looks like the fin box might have leaked too…why the white cover up all aroung the fin box?..Leaker, leaker, shark sticker sneaker.
What’s up with the fin box? What is an “epoxy board”.
If it rides great ride the crap out of it before it dies. If it sucks sell it fast before more salt water makes it yellow more. Nice fin. Don’t worry, the fin will hold it’s value
the area where the decal was layed down was the first pour out of the bucket, insufficient mixing, I stir with a paint brush counting to a hundred, wiping sides and bottom of tub, I still wind up with a streak now and then, comes with the territory
