EPS ding repair and primer

Recently got some creases in the bottom glass of a eps/epoxy board.  Doesn't look too bad, one of them got out to the rail where it cracked and let some water in, the other two appear to have not affected the stringer or the foam.  I actually think I hit a turtle going under a wave on the North Shore.  Anyway, I need to take off some glass for the repair and replace.  Do I need to re-prime the foam before applying the glass on a repair?  Thanks.

What are going to fill the crack with?  If you are going to fill with Q-cell and epoxy mix, you don't have to prime.
