EPS foam blocks actual widths to work with?

Is an ordered 24" block actually 24"?  I'm drafting some templates between 23 and 24" and would like to draft to actual width offerings. Thanks

The company I order my foam from will cut it to the size you request. The billet is something like 45" by 48" by 16'. I get them cut into 4 blocks 24" x 45" x 8'. Hope that helps.

You should contact the foam company.

Anything we tell you will just be guesses…

The foam company I bought from stated the measurements exactly as delivered.

One day my brother called me with a deal on some 2# eps foam. It looked like a mattress. A perfect 12 inch thick slab. I can't believe i wasted so much time hot wiring 24 inch wide blanks. Two cuts on the 12" mattress was way faster that one cut on the 24" wide....and the Mattress had nice square sides for good stringer lay ups.......
