Jeez...it's taking me longer to figure out a title for this topic than it will to get the question down, plus the previous research in archives...and I have done a long search through the archives!
I'm going to make a couple of prototype floating things using some leftover Home Depot EPS insulation foam. It was suggested I paint them up just for the entertainment value of painting, and I got all that info. BUT- here's the deal...I'm not going to glass them, no resin, never meant to last. Rather than pollute with the paint coming off as soon as it hits the water, what would you good people offer as something that might make a good "psuedo-permanent" sealer over the acrylic for something that will not be sealed with fiberglass and resin of any kind?
