… measure your average foot stance?
… make masonite foot templates (my own–you’ll nay get photos of these!) to lay on a board you’re working on? Move em around for different maneuvers etc…
… prop a blank (cleaned off) on your mattress/pillows/sheets at different angles to see the outline/outline features/rail lay against the surface for like cutbacks, etc?
… move a fin template in cardboard or posterboard around on the blank you’re working on and do the above?
… sit on 2 finished blanks for six months because you’re too scared to slap a bunch of epoxy on them and ruin them?
Fark me–I have done several of these, confound it!
ACTUAL TIP–while back we were talking about covering unused sidebite plugs or boxes, or center boxes–well, I saw Leo Nordine say on EBay that he fills his with wax, which seemed like a pretty good idea
