Wow… great work. Did I see you with that board this week? It looks familiar. Would have been at Grandview, or Pipes.

Yes surfed it for the first time Thur. at Pipes and blew out original fin setup

Ahh… yes, that was it. I think you were talking to someone on the dirt path while I squeezed past to head back up to the parking lot. Fun waves that day. We had a guy in a visor out though that was surfing so dangerously that Yoga Mike gave him a talking-to… and it’s not easy to get Mike upset!

See you in the water…

nice work mate

thanks for posting that

i appreciate it

i was pretty sure 2 pd eps wasnt strong enough for keels or twins

and that balsa looks good cosmetically

Hey Silly

Gave it a test run today very nice.

I really like the set up I have on there right now!

No problems very solid base for these types of fins unless you go to another fin system.

I am very impressed with the quad set up it has opened up my eyes and will build more boards playing with diffrent ideas.

measurements please ?(fin positions)

(as chipmunk punk would say)

16-1/2" tail

Rear fins 5-3/8" from swallow 2-1/8" from rail

Front fins 11" from tail 1-3/8" or 1-1/2" from rail I will double check this!

I used the Mckee formulas for toe in check his site you may already know! Also used alot of Sway info to come up with fin placement position.

The cant on the front fins is 1/4" and the rears are at 1/8"

Anyway I have never set up a Quad before but this one works very well either I got lucky or I got lucky!!!

cheer bro

may just try that one!

Hi Chris ,

May i know the fin size ? GX & G3 ?

Regards , A .

Andi the rear fins I’m running the little GL side bites

The main fins and I’m not sure if there are others but they are an MR template I have had for about 4 of 5 years.

The MR’s have no identifable markings as to size or style, I’m sure they are very common but I can take a close up pic if you like!!
