I was at a surf contest on the Gold Coast last weekend that FCS put on for Manufacturers only. It was a tag team event only for factory guys. Pretty much every shaper, glasser, sander on the coast came big and small and it was a great day, great vibe, Nice one FCS for putting it on.
One of the reps there was showing us the new Poly Carb plugs and some of the new fins in the pipeline. They had a new G5 made from the new material that look like Glass G10 and flexed very similarly to panel. These were the new production fins that they will be releasing to replace the standard fins now. Looks to me that these guys are back, they may have let other systems back but with new shapers templates in hand foiled glass combined with the new plugs and greatly improved standard fins they have risen to the challenge.
Maybe I am just stoked for having such a good day with these guys but it all looked good to me and all of the other manufacturers that were there.
