The other bummer is the crowds - just look at them!!! No waves and a packed house. You wouldn’t bother, would you.
Haha… Yeah, the crowds on the imaginary waves are killer. I think it was about a two years before I actually saw another surfer out in the water here.
Seoul Surfer, I’ve got only the basic resources if you need any: resin, catalyst, cloth, and several sandpaper grains. I’m fixing my buddy’s FCS fin plugs tomorrow in Apgujung so if you need any, respond to this post. The poor guy busted a fin on his new board, surfing small surf in Jeju. By the way, since you’re in Korea as well, do you know a kook named Brian Rhee who goes around Korea claiming he surfs (when in fact he just floats on his board) and regurgitates what he reads online so he can pick up girls? The surfers in Busan can’t stand him. Anyways…
Surf in Korea has been pretty good this year. I’ve hit up Busan (from Seoul) every week since April thanks mainly to the new KTX bullet train. Jeju on several occasions when it was breaking like a good day in So. Cali. April was a really good month in Busan, head high to overhead and relatively decent shape. Last storm, Mindule, kicked up 8-12 ft. faces in Busan. There is regular surf in Korea if you look hard enough.
