Super small drill bit. Then a bigger one…and so on. At some point you’ll be able to pick the rest of the resin out.
G’day Allan,
If you cant pick it off throw the screw into a pot of acetone over night, the resin should be on the bottom of the pot in the morning leaving a clean thread.

Just re-read your post, did you mean you poured resin into the thread of the plug?
Maybe easier to drill the plug out and put a new one in.
If its just in the hex head of the screw the acetone should do it.
If this happens to me I just put the key in the screw while the resin is wet, as the resin wont stick to the key head and will come out clean when hard.
Howzit allan, The easiest way is just get another screw. But the acetone soak should do it, after soaking use a small wire brush to clean the threads.Aloha,Kokua
