What are the glass shops that get it done right the first time? Who has the best sanders ? It seems that every step of the way there is a chance for f@#$ up’s. I think we need to index the upper crust of glassers , as to avoid disasters. I’ve seen so many boards get violated by laxy , or inexperienced sanders. I think there is a real niche for a factory that can pull off a quality job w/ a two week turn over. Is this possible? West coast - East coast - Hawaii -
I know of two in Oregon. They use only expereinced glassers and sanders. These places use people who have 10+ years in the business. My secret to sanding is thick hot coats. I also know of one in Florida. The problem with listing names is that you should not say who is not to good. Unless you can afford a lawsuit. The problem with quality in most factories is keeping good employees. They leave becuase of lack of wages, better working conditions or the other builders see the persons work and hire that person way. You need to talk to folks that do the work before it is done and set a standard for payment. Bad work should not be tolerated.>>> What are the glass shops that get it done right the first time? Precision fiberglass does some of the best work I have seen to date. Good guality control from start to finish. My Balsa gun is beautiful!! Custom balsa fins and all. Thanks, Rennie!! Thanks , Tony!! Worth every penny.
I think my feeble mind figured out that the glass shops that get it done right are the one’s that do not need, or want the additional work.
