Can someone please clarify the maximum percentage of wax in styrene which can be added to Laminating resin to make the ideal filler or hot coat resin.
I was told 2% originally, but recently another supplier told me up to 4 or 5% is the normal amount?

i do 5%, thats what i have always been told. works fine for me.
I have always added twice the amount of SA to the percentage of catalyst I am working with depending on temp, batch size, etc.
It says recommended amount right on the bottle. It says something like 1oz for 1qt of Resin. Convert everything into cc’s and then to the math to get your percentage.
