Filling cracks and lines in balsa skin?

I was wondering if I could use some kind of wood filler (this one perhaps?) to fill the line and cracks in the balsa skin and if it would somehow cause problems while glassing. Any of you guys used a similar product before?

Take 15ml of epoxy in a small cup, add balsa dust until decent thickness is acheived.

Easy way( slightly more messy) is to fill hole, and squeegee in to deck level, sand after drying.

Harder way is to tape off (neater and need tape)   either side of gap and do the same thing withe the balsa/epoxy paste, pull tape off immediately, let dry and sand

How big are the cracks?  I’ve tried the epoxy and balsa dust and, aesthetically, it’s barely any better than just straight epoxy.  What I’ve done on bigger cracks (1/32" or bigger) is just sand strips of balsa into wedges, brush alittle epoxy into the crack and then jam the wedge in.  Once sanded the crack is pretty much invisible.

I’ve had good luck with white glue and very fine sanding dust for the small cracks,  and jam in some slivers for the larger ones.
