filling preasure ding

i just got a board from a friend and on the rail where you push up there’s a pressure ding but the glass didn’t stick to it. is there a way i could poke a hole in the glass and fill it up with resin so it’s more solid?

Usually, we sand the area super thin, almost going through all the glass; it gets really soft. Then carefully cutting with a clean razor blade, we make a semi-circle cut around half the affected area. Lift the flap up and hold it open with a clean object.

Mix a batch of filler, resin, and white pigment and cram it into the problem area. Lay the flap down while wet, laying clear wrap over the area and masking tape over that. Apply enough tape pressure to make the flap just flush or just below flush so you can glass over the area.

Use two layers of glass over the area and be sure your glass layers extend beyond the flap by about a half inch. Hotcoat and finish as always.
