Filling small dings in the foam - Epoxy over PU

Done shaping a poly board, and I have a few “dings” and “dents” from hings like screen, sureform, etc…I’m going to glass it with Resin Research.  Do I need to fill these with spackle or anything before glassing it or just let a little extra resin gather in those areas??  Thanks.

Yes - spackle.

Thx.

Small pin holes etc. to the size of a pencil eraser that are overlooked by the shaper are usually graciously filled with resin during the lamination at  a glass shop.  However;  Better to look the blank over and spackle any holes.    Lightweight spackle dabbed with your finger on the hole only.  Do not use a squeege or putty knife and do not spread the spackle onto the surrounding area.  If need be tape off the surrounding area at the hole.  Let it dry over nite and then lightly screen the spackle.  On a clear board only an experst can detect it.
