Fin cant angle for a gun: degrees?

I’m about to install some fins on my newly shaped 7’6" gun. What’s a good standard fin angle (cant, I think and not toe-in)? I’ve read anywhere from 2-8 degrees. Thanks in advance. -Joshua

5 or less for a gun usually works well.

what about a typical shortboard? 5+? hybrid ?

Alot of shapers in California are 5-7plus. In Hawaii and Australia they tend toward 5 degrees more.
