Fin foiling - am I doing this right?

Hi all,

So this is my first time foiling fins and things seem to be going well. I’m doing a pair of single foil keels for my mini simmons. I used 1/2" baltic birch. My question is, I know that there shouldn’t really be any flat spots on the fin, so how much farther should i push the exit and entry foils? How thin should the fin be before handing it off to my glasser? I still have 2-3 plys on the back side that I can sand down.

Here’s where I’m at presently:

Here’s a google search for “Gephardt Keels”…

He’s THE GUY for ply keels…

Yours look good to me. Maybe extend the exit some more and the entry a touch?

I’m no expert though… Can we see the bottom of the fins please?

Thanks - I’ll check that out. I’ll take a pic of the bottom of the fins when i get home.
