fin for speed egg

Hi - wondering what folk would suggest is a good allround single fin size for a 8ft 2 speed egg board? 8 or 9 inch flex?

true ames greeno 4a...9.75"

true ames greeno stage 6... 9"

fibre glass GL narrow base flex fin...9.5"

might be a good start..

8 inch

Thanks folks for the suggestions.....heard good reports on all those fins. I have a Josh Farebrow 9 inch flex fin which I have used on my perf noserider board....wondered if that was going to be too big or not but worth a go before splashing out I reckon.

i have one on one of my logs..

works great..but

might too big and stiff for eggy

I’d say it’s much too big. I use one on a 9’4 noserider.

For my 8 footer I prefer narrower fins with more flex and less area. The Greenoughs are a good choice. I have a couple of 8" copies I made from larger fins.

Okay....stick with 8 inch I reckon. Thanks
