hey guys what normal lenght up from tail to back of fin on noserider is 4 inchs right? i did 8 inchs on my hp board what you guy recommend?

I have mine up 5" on my 9’8" and like it there. It’s a big, upright, 10", pivot fin with a 7-3/4" base. Tail is 15-1/2".
Started with it about 4" up, but found that moving it forward losened up the turns with no other, adverse effects.
