fin plug anchoreing

with all the new prducts on the market like slow cure epoxy , i was wandering wot to use to anchore my fin solution plugs in my new quad im glassing. Im not familar with epoxy and only a novice at using polyester resins.

Regular epoxy is fine. I like the Resin Research stuff for EPS or polyurethane foam. Or polyester resin @ about 1% for polyurethane foam. If you have everything setup and prepped and ready to go, you don’t need slow cure anything, except possibly to manage heat. But I’ve always properly routed my holes (not big, sloppy holes… holes that fit the plug or box with just enough room around them for the resin to flow evenly) and used cold wet rags directly under the plugs with good success.

it it is eps/epoxy tape that little sucker down once its in place. Sometimes the blank gassing will push it up when you walk away from it.
