Fellow beginner here and my first post! been doing a lot of reading here.
I can’t speak for setting those plugs in eps but i can vouch for them on quality i’ve just used a set to repair my LB and convert to quad and they were great.
Actually, I set them with epoxy resin and micro bubbles in one pour, i used the guideline hardener mix that seabase sent with their resin (2:1 - resin:hardener.) Didn’t come across any problems other than a lot of overflow. heat didn’t seem to worry the board to much although this was PU?
