fin setup on a swallow tail

hey folks i’m getting ready to shape a 6’0" semi fish kinda board. i need to go measure a few but what i want to know is do most folks measure their fin placement from the tips of the swallow or the notch? it would seem that you would measure from the tips…i’m going to go look at some but i was curious what people here do. it’t a pretty small pulled swallow, standard thruster setup. also i was wondering about switching out the trailer fin for a twinnie setup dep. on conditions. would it be worth it to get extra plugs(fcs) for that?

measure from the tips-instead of twinny why not try different center fin > such as fcs g-3000? its smaller thanks for the answer. i thought that was the case but wasn’t sure. as far as the twin setup, too much trouble, i’m going with the std. thruster set-up. i have a GS trailer thats really small that might be interesting to throw in. anyway thanks for the tip

And a bat-tail students? Oh, oh, oh Mr.Carter, it is the furthest point on the tail!!! What is in this poi!?
