STOKED to see one with the ‘original’ concaves and fin setup …
I will be even more interested to hear how it goes !!
what were all the dimensions again , please ? cheers mate !
i just used an acrylic sealer as a kinda polish, sanded to 320 and then coated with the sealer, it worked out pretty well.
the dimensions are 5’11" x 19 3/4" x 2 3/4" not sure on the nose and tail measurements
concaves start 8" from the nose, follow the shape of the template until the widepoint, then narrow to 8" wide between the runners…after each fin the concave’s “wall” diminishes as does the “vee” down the stringer. and the channels are 1/2" deep between the fins.
heres the shot of the fins too
thanks a lot SG80 !
…An American design , presented in Australian Longboarding mag , 'replicated in California , for the WORLD to see on Swaylocks … good stuff eh ?

So how’d it go?
I’m sure Ben would have asked this if he was able to.
I don’t know enough about the Bonzer concept but intend on learing in time. One
thing I will say is I really the Rocker profile on it [for one thing]…

i dont even really know how it goes yet, i havent gotten in it a suitable wave that i can make a decision yet, and i cant seem to get up far enough when i jump up on the takoff. the widepoint is 7" forward of the widepoint, and there is a specific line in the board where there is alot of float, and the other side has almost no float, so im trying to get used to finding the right spot right when i hop up…further testing is required!
Sounds like it might fly when you get your foot in the right spot at the right spot!
