Occy’s on the rails, G1000 on the center.
I rode this combination in the Canarys the last Christmas and it’s the only set up that make work my Webber Squish… now i’m waiting for an Halcyon’s set up with powerful rail fins. Some shapes just need a lot of power in the rail fins to be able to generate speed, i found this true specially on shapes with the wide point a little back from the center.
I hope this helps.
Good waves!
yep wide point is back form centre, big fins on the rail with trailer then you reckon.
But i do like to carve sometimes when i surf and sometimes i think i lose that feeling.
I have surfed the board with a bigger centre fin and smaller fins on the rail, which get it going but makes it less loose? i think , draws out the turns a bit.
does this make sense?
Will look back at some of the archive stuff and get up to speed.
Do people rate the rainbow fin thruster sets over say fcs carbon ones?
