fins for this fish

im gonna make some fins for this fish as the fins he got when he bought the board seem to hold up the board when riding any suggestions?

i was thinking of some like paul jensens in the archives 5" high by 7" long.

the board is a 6’6"- 21.5"- 2 3/4"

I looks as if the cant and toe are excessive on those fins. Is it the picture? Did you check them…just an idea…

yeah did measure the fins they are carbon fcs fins that are bigger than g5’s.

wouldnt a 9" base be too big?

The 7 x 5’s should work just fine. I’ve been making most of my fish with pulled tails (7" at the tips) to get a board that turns well in the pocket. On a 6’2" I use 7 x 5’s placed at 8 1/2 to 9" from the tips, 1 1/4" in with 1/8 toe and 3 degrees cant.
