First glassed board, All Done!

Hi there Kokua & people!

Thanks you for help, Ive glassed my first board, its not too bad almost up to shop standard and it went unreal on my first surf ( almost as exciting as first time standing up surfing),

if it wasnt for people like you (Kokua and others) in Swaylocks , It wouldnt have come out as good as did and I wouldnt feel as amped as I did this morning!

Cheers!

WOT, NO PHOTOS?

Heres the photos then bro,

I didnt post any photos cause the board doesnt look any diferent to any other thruster photos.

I guess my point is more about celebrating the benefits of the swaylocks site.

the board is a 6’6x 18 7/8x 2 1/2 , nose 10 7/8, tail 14

rocker is 5 1/2 and 2 1/4, I have boxy hard rails in tail they offer looks of bite I noticed. No conaves just a reliable bottom. i did notice thu I ended up having a concave by the fins from the glassing by mistake ( intially) I kept it in there just to see how it would go, its 1/16 deep from in front of the fins to the flat at the back.

And it feels really good, I might leave it in.

My next board might be a 6’4x 19 1/2 x2 1/2 with a wide tail and lots of curve on template, to surf more in the pocket!( Im going off meecraftys small wave board from a thread on a 6’6 etc )… jeezs theres lots of stuff on this site! I could just go on and on … so i wont!

See ya, Alofa

Its designed for me 6ft, 177pounds, 2 to 6ft maybe more, an all round board.

THANKS Design er guy…

Nice to see a shot of a thruster on here …we don’t always get a lot of shots of them , yet I’m sure some people here ride them ?
