First hollow wooden board (picture heavy)

Sorry Jase, you also wanted to know the glass scedule.

I glassed 1 layer of 4 oz on the bottom and 2 on the deck, with 2 x 6oz fin patches, one below the glass one above, and 1 patch round the vent.

No glass on the inside. The internal ribs were 3,6, 8,10,12,10,8,6" apart from tail to nose and the skins are ply so figured it would be a bit stronger than strips of wood due to the glue layers and the alternate grain direction.

I’ve heard of people just using resin with no glass, Paul even used 1.5 oz glass on his recent travel board (but then he does use carbon on the inside) so hopefully this will be plenty and I wont put my foot through it on the first ride.

Any way its late now and I need sleep so the gloss pic will have to wait for now.

BTW Jase can I see a pic of the vent you used, you said you’d taken it out your wifes sun lounger? spose she want nee that for a few months anyway.

Ok so heres what it looked like after the gloss coat.

and a couple more for good luck

Once its finished I’ll take it out side for a shot of the plan shape abnd the rocker, there’s not a lot of room in the workshop for taking pics.

DIG IT!!!

What other shapes have you had success with?
