First post.. my first resin swirls

I have been lurking on Sways for about a year now and finally decided its time to post something. Ive got plenty of room for improvement but these are a few of my first attempts with color

The first image is one of my favorite boards. Its a 5"7 single fin with hips (great for points) it was my first color attempt and i had no idea what i was doing. While glassing the bottom i made to many passes with my squeegy and it came out pretty muddy.. i approached the deck differently and was pretty stoked on how the colors blended to cover the laps.

Board #2 i road one time and decided i wanted to reinforce the deck so i hit it with some 60 grit taped the border/rails and glassed a 3/4 deck patch ( much stronger now!) with some blue/white and a touch of black.

Finally the last image was the tail off an old longboard shaped down into a hand plane (only for barrels!) I used a little bit of navy blue over some yellow and got this cool green effect! hopefully i can post more soon.

Any advise or criticism is welcome

Yes, indeed good work!

+1 on #2,    I like the fine lines and unique randomness. Ive never done a swirl but its intruiging to look at the possibilities.
