First shape. How it can be better?

Hey guys, this is my first post here at Swaylocks.

Makes about one year since I’ve been here. Studying about rocker, foil, concave, rails and fins set up. The guys here explain very well so I guess I could understand the theory, especially when studying an isolated variable.

I would go hand shape, but unfortunately this is not possible, then during this time designed numerous times in the Shape 3D. I made many shapes and always thought they were good, but when I looked a second time I was disappointed.

I think the board I need is a little unusual because I’m a pretty small guy, so measures flee the standard a bit, making comparisons more difficult.

So I thought I’d ask for help and hope for the comments

I am 5’5 ", 145.5lb, 6.5 foot.

I’m Backfoot and riding most of the time beach breaks between 2 ‘and 5’, fast and wind chop.

This is the board I’m doing:

5’6” -  19” – 2 ¼”

Wide:     13 3/16” Nose - 19” (1” back- @32”) - 15 3/32” Tail

Thick:     1 7/16” Nose - 2 1/14” (1” back- @32”) - 1 19/32” Tail

Rocker:  4 1/8” Nose – 15/16” 1’@N - 21/32” 1’@T - 1 29/32” Tail

Concave:  Vee Roll to Single to “Single with Double” to “Vee Double”

Thruster: 3 ½”(trailer), 10 1/2” off tail and 1 ¼” off rails (sides),  ¼” or 2” toe in??, 4° or 6° cant??

The project in Shape 3D is annexed

All help will be much appreciated

For the criteria you describe, the board looks good (to me).  You know what works for you, so you just gotta go with your gut.  Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but this one looks like a winner, from the file.

So - are you going to shape this one up, and glass it?

…so I made that board for you ha ha; not unusual; however these performers are not intended to ride choppy surf.

Huck, good as it seemed good. Sometimes I look and I think it could have more foam in one point and less in another. I also wonder about the fin placement: cluster further back or further forward, more or less toe in?

My intention is to take this project on a CNC machine to cut and then I do the same finish. The glass I think of letting a friend do.

Reverb, thank you, it was what I wanted!

What are the dimensions? : p … It would be nice if my stay so

What could be changed to make it work in choppy surf?

Choppy surf? No concave, more Vee, from nose to tail
