Year of the Fish
Clark Foam has introduced two new blanks this year, the 6’5” P and the 6’8” P, both are suitable to shape fish out of. They feature lower rocker lines and increased thickness throughout the blank. Of course they still have the 6’ 2”C and the 6’9”A which are also good blanks for shaping fish out of. We are currently stocking all four of these blanks.
Futures Fins has also come along with some new fins for the fish revolution. In addition to the FT1, they have now introduced the FEN which is a larger MR style twin fin. This fin is available only in glass and measures 5 1/8” high and 5 7/16” at the base. The FT1 is available in composite (standard) and in glass. Futures is also coming out with a glass retro fish fin that has more of the keel shape to it than the FEN or the FT1. Futures Glass Fin sets are starting at $40.95, stock colors are Natural, Smoke, Blue, and Red. Call for availability as demand has been quite high and inventory changes weekly.
I don’t know what they’ll cost you.
You can by a 4’x8’x2" panel of 3/4lb EPS at lowes for $12-$14 cut it in half and glue it togethor and try and make an epoxy fish out of it but the close tolerance Clark urethane will be easier to deal with if this is your first venture.
