mate , you sure got the “groveller” bit right !!

cheers Josh !

…no waves today , eh ?

you know , if we did a profile like that on every regular poster at sways , WHAT an amazing "photo album we would have !

[…I guess that’s why once upon a time I dreamed of a swaylocks video showing similar, but definately surfboard design based …]

ben

p.s. - THIS is more accurate for “my home break” , this time of year , by the way ! …

whats the problem? You can take the mal out in that!!! (kinda)

Say chipper, I see you have a wettie on in every shot… Is that water that consistently cold over there in west oz? Are can you paddle out in shorts sometimes? It is the middle of your summer right now, right?

hiya Jarrod !!

I’d like to do a similar thread to this on you , with all your variety of boards designs and materials , one day

These photos are all pretty much shots from autumn , winter and spring …

Here in our summer now , the water temp is 18C at the moment …lavz and I surfed in long sleeved rash vests and boardies when I launched the mal the other day …the air temp lately has been hovering around 26-34C [roughly , add 15 , and double it , to get degrees F]

cheers !

…for a comparison , the goldie [“snapper rocks”, etc] experiences up to 24C water , this time of year .

As with here , it’s either the wind chill from a seabreeze , or the fiercely burning sun , that causes us to wear [thin] longsleeved rash vests this time of year [we don’t “HAVE” to , as we are not sponsored crew [“sponnos”] !

[p.s. - I like mucking around with trying to make the ocassional fin , too.]
