You could probably get 10 different answers for your question. Some will tell you its too long…too wide…to thick…etc. But who knows yourself better than you do? If you’ve done boards for yourself you probably have a good handle on what works and what doesnt work for you. With that said, I find your dimensions quite acceptable for your height and weight. Seems the rule of thumb for fish is to make it as long as you are tall. I’m 5’5 138 lbs. and my shortest fish (which I have yet to get back from the glasser) is 6’0". My Lis fish and one of my modern fishes are 6’4" and the other 6’6". These are lengths I feel comfortable on so I stay with them. There really is no wrong or right…just what works and doesnt work for you. Take your age, height/weight, surfing/paddling ability into consideration and take it from there. Trust your instincts. Good luck…
those tips are too wide…if you want to do a full cutback, without having to go way around the block(losing your speed the whole gouge), so to speak.
bump them in to between 11"-12" w/ wings or without.
I’m sure it will pump forward just fine, it’s your decision if you want the full speed roundhouse cutback, if so, you got to narrow the tips.
Width is also too wide, 21.5-22"max.
Mid-section should be fairly straight for the speed affect.
You will be surprized how easily your fish lifts and accelerates …
BUT No vee. …
‘flat’ deck-maybe even slightly concaved. Easy on the toe in- 1/8" max.
The Fish ‘came’ from my neighborhood!!!
Sorta funny to see the worldwide trickle down of technology.
One thing fo-sho they sure ride better than the ones we made in '71-'74. Pull in your tips it will go rail to rail way better on mushy waves.
Back then we would’nt dream of riding one over 6’ even!
All they needed was narrower tips and lighter glassing/foam. And that’s exactly what happened after '75! Summerfish’s! Singlefins w/10" swallows rode fricken great one small waves.
