Herb (or anyone!), Have you ever experimented with moving the wide point and max. thick point behind center on your fish shapes? Imagine a 6’2" X 21" that’s two inches behind center (with the tail being wider than the nose). Kirk
…YUP!Been there done that, …As an example check out my bro’s Q4S fish in the photo archive.It’s 6’-1" x 23"(something like that),with a wider tail than nose and the center point is 1" back. …“The big ticket”,don’t drop it to far back,and YES,they ride killer.Herb
Apparently there is a theory out there that states boards will get smaller and smaller as new technologies arise. I beleve it…look at how nice a fish rides…I am going to shape a 5’2" Fish with a 22 in width 1.5 inch behind center…if it works I am going extreme and making a 4’8", 2.6 thick Q4
