Herb, We do get the cold here, but not the snow that they get in Maine, N.H. & Vermont. We are surrounded by ocean, guess thats why they call us "The Ocean State. 4 of us have a trip planned this Jan. or Feb. Drive to Hampton Beach, N.H,(about 2 hrs) surf there in the AM, then same day drive appox. 1 1/2 hrs from there and ski the afternoon. Think we will turn a few heads in the parking lot when they see a car pull in with surfboards, snow boards & ski’s ???

Bruce Lee originally studied Wing Chung under Yip Man in HK. He developed > Jeet Kune Do from that style and felt that it was a better method in > certain circumstances. I would recommend The Tao of Jeet Kune Do to anyone > that is interested in this style. Zen and the Martial Arts is another very > good book that you can relate to your personal relationship with your > boards and the ocean. Another excellent form of exercise that will help > your surfing is yoga. Many professional athletes are now incorporating > yoga and the martial arts in order to improve performance. Tai Chi Chuan > will improve your balance which is always a good thing. An important > muscle group that will help your overall health are your internal and > external obliques (abdominal) muscles. Properly executed crunches take > just few minutes a day that will bring you a wealth of benefits starting > with better posture and balance. Well, I don’t know about posture part, but my wife is the Womens 3 time US open womens Karate Champ and she keeps me in line, aligned or something like that. Yes Dear, I took the garbage out. http://www.JimtheGenius@aol.com

Wouldn’t a morning at HB and an afternoon at Bear Mtn just hit the spot? I’ve got a buddy that claims he can set up a great package deal for groups of bros at Bear. It could even get as big as the Cove Crew Classic…

Although I do have cousins that relocated from RI, 40+ years ago to Huntington Beach, about 10 years ago they moved to Fountain Valley.

I used it once and got a round trip to Puerto Rico for under $185.00 U.S.! I’ve also tried Expedia.com but that one was better suited for the “Family Vacations” with my lovely bride and our three rug rats. We just got back from Vegas and I swear that my eight year old boy wanted to be ‘Mr. Papageorgio’ from Natl. Lampoons Vegas Vacation while we were there… If you make it to the left coast drop me an e-mail and I will show you as many breaks as Bank Wright wrote about many moons ago. I’ll be looking for ya in da water.

Hopefully 1 of these day’s I’ll take you up on that generous offer.Vegas, would do a show there once a yearand take my bride and 2 daughters, they played and Daddy worked, whats wrong with this picture ??? Only kidding they are more than worth it. Haven’t checked out Priceline.com only because for 29 years I made my living traveling in and out of airports, Holiday Inn’s & eating 3 meals a day in restaurants. The last thing I want to see is another airport, hotel room, etc. Hopefully a RV will be in our future, then I’ll be looking for you in da water. Thanks again & Be well !!!
