I'd grind the side of the fin in that area away until you grind into the side of the hole. then build up the part that you grinded away with layer after layer of cloth. once done, fill in the hole with resin, and re drill a new hole. check to make sure it fits in the box, if too loose, build back up again, if too tight, grind back down to size. this is just what I'd do, but someone else may have a better solution.
I like the idea of cyano for it’s fluidity… getting into all the fibers of a cracked fin lamination…
however, I like the idea of the viscosity of resin and the case that it is resin that built the fin lamination in the first place… and it’s the same stuff it’s made of…
so… I’m undecided on how to fix…other than the fact that i have resin and don’t have cyano at this point in time… probably will go with my UV resin…
