i just lam’d the bottom of my first board and the resin gelled too fast.so i ended up with about a foot long spot on one rail where the resin gelled over dry cloth…so i sanded through the gell and removed the cloth in that area witch in some spots left just foam to about 1/8 in. onto the bottom allthe way to the deck…just trying to think if i should patch this area and then do the top lam, or just leave extra cloth on the top lam to wrap around. both seem like they would work and the patch seems easier , because i dont want any extra work on my top lam. but i dont want the patched area to be to thick and end up sanding into it after the hot coat. i just dont want to ent up getting cracks in this area everytime i ride.so it seems right to do a ding repair now. any suggestions?
anybody?
