i know that there is a " hook up" section and i have posted something there almost a week ago and i havent got much of a response. i think black monday killed it.
so heres what i think we need a gathering for a surf, and a trip to go see forstall for some new eps blanks.
i was thinking of somewhere like the 27th 28th or 29th or after the new year.
nothing is set in stone yet and so far it looks like its just me and soulstice.
I think everyone’s “gone to see Steve” in the past couple days. May want to check with him and give it a little time.
yeah, man…i’m down…but we shouldn’t just drop in on the guy…cuz only kooks drop in on people. we’ll find a good day, and give him a little notice. keep me aprised of what’s what. peace be da journey…

i agree with you soulstice, it would be really messed up if a handful of people droped in on you. i know i get mad when its just one person.
i was hoping to get a little input on date suggestions from you guys. but if eyeryone is cool with those days we can shoot for the 27th. and probably have it up at second light in cocoa.
if anyone has anything to add or wants to change anything around i am cool with that.

ok so i am going to set it for the 27th at second light in cocoa beach. i am sure that most everyone knows where that is but if you have any questions let me know.
i can give forstall a call in the near future and let him know that we would like to stop by. if thats still something that we are interested in doing.
now if we can just get waves like we had today overe there we will be in business.

I’m in. What time? I live about a 1/2 hour from 2nd light.
i havent really put a lot of thought into that yet. i only live about 45 minutes or so from the beach. but i know that a lot of you will be coming from far away.
so maybe we should shoot for like 9 or somewhere around there.
i am down for input though. so far we are up to eight guys though.
ok i dont know where it went but i thought i saw someone list the names of a few other florida swaylockers. maybe i dreamed it or i am just an idiot this morning but if anyone can think of anyone else p.m them and let them know about the gathering or give me there name and i will do it.
In light of the recent Clark situation I am interested in making my first board out of EPS. It seems like an overall better product, so count me in on going to talk to Steve about blanks.

sorry guys the internet was down for a few days and i got busy with a few boards i am trying to finish before the 27th.

WHEN. Tuesday, the 27th of December at 9:00 am
WHY. Why not
other events may include going to see forstall for blanks, skating the cocoa beach cement park, which has a capsule and is free. and other random tom follery.

i will have two new boards a 6’3 old school single fin. that is looking really sweet right now, and a friends 7’3 fun shape with a experimental bat tail.
hopefully both will be done before the date.
