foam density

forgive me if there have been a million post on this, but i searched and was not successful:

i am building a Channel Islands Flyer imitation, was gonna use clark foam superblue, but the distributor near me will have to custom order it, but they stock supergreen regularly. would this be alright? i am not looking at weight all too much, and i have had many pressure dings in my previous boards (VERY light)

not that much noticable difference in wieght but if getting alot of pressure dings maybe green is a better choice.

For sure, green will be the better choice

Just be sure you don’t over shape the deck. If you cut out too much of that good, dense foam at the surface, the deck will ding no matter what density it is. Doug
