CFOAM is currently under development in lower densities in Touchstone’s laboratories. Unfortunately, it is inherently open-celled. In the future, it could be a viable alternative. Until new densities are developed and mechanical properties tested, it will have to be classified as an emerging core material for this application. http://www.trl.com
