The 'Ant fins'  panel returns ! [now templated]...it's actually a clear panel .... it's only the sky that makes it look like a blue tint panel.

Nice chippy, always love your posts. for some reason at the shop i work at we had around 100 or so flies appear out of nowhere one day, so we went on a fly swatting rampage, and i was considering making a fin with all the flies. We shall see.

Howzit chip, I really can't help you with the bubbles since I never had that problem in my whole resin pouring life. But the cockroach came out with hardly any so it might be what kind of critter you are putting in resin. I have a feeling that the snail might have trapped air in the shell and the heat from the resin kicking might be forcing it out of the shell, that's about the only thing I can think of. Aloha,Mike

...can i have them , pleeeease ???

i'll make a very FLY  panel or two out of them , if YOU don't ??

[the li'l red flecks of blood might make a nice touch , maybe i'll even add a few lines of red pigment , for the full death effect !]

  thanks Kokua ...yeah ,

the big snail definately bubbled [? farted resin ?] the most !!

the other thing i sussed is ...

don't stir the resin for too long , once the catalyst is in ....and then let it sit for a while , waiting till it is nearly gelled , BEFORE placing the "critters" in there ....

(now , resinhead or speedneedle or maybe spiderman ...can you guys  please help me ??

....I  wanna do SPIDERS  next !!)

and a big feather single fin ... I just hope that the parrot's colours won't dissolve , like the LEAF'S ones did ?!

  cheers guys

if i put them 'where the sun don't shine' * , that could get messy , Mike ! ...

...or else , it's a long way to travel * to england , also ....

Hey Chip,

I was  looking at this thread with my 8 year old daughter (AKA Llilibel) and when she saw the snail she was like, “Cool!”  But as I scrolled down and got to the cockroach she was like, “EEeeeewwww!”   Then she saw the ant panel and was like, “Cool!” and then I told her they were ants and she was like, “EEEeeeeeew!”

hahaha

thanks for posting Chip… cool pics =)
