As for surf on the island its not bad, not to many big days and groundswell is a bit weak by the time it reaches us, mainly surfing the fetch,SW winds are probably the best although NW and westerlys have their moments.

hi , thanks for that, i have been to the isle of man a few times when i was a kid and the irish sea is pretty rough at times so i thought there must be surf there somewhere, how many people surf on the island?, pete
i rekon only about 10 of us serious winter surfers conditions pretty crap but when it warms up or cleans up probably about 50… Makes for a good wave count…Hows cornwall, ive never had the pleasure but could do with a short surf trip…?
hi, cornwalls pretty flat at the moment and it looks like that for the nexr few weeks ,its been a poor summer really probabally the worst for a long time, hopefully the autumn should improve things, pete

not to bad further down the line, that section very hard breaking on shallow reef (like 6"). Need balls of steel.
