Forgotten Foil....

In a rush to get my 6’8" swallow tail twin-fin done, I forgot to foil the back of the board. I have shaped the rails, cut the swallow tail, and in doing so realized how thick the board still was where the cut was made. This is my first swallow tail board. I feel like I need to thin the back of the board down a bit, but I am worried that doing so will change the shape of the rail. Would I have to re-band the last half of the board if I wanted to foil down the back, and then re-shape the rails? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I weigh 220, so it’s not necessarily bad if the board is too thick. -R.M.
