freelap

when glassing and you freelap your bottom side over laping the rails onto the deck, how do you stop from getting lam. on you deck? Could this be a problem if your deck is painted or cause uneven spots when laming your deck. or does that excess lam on the deck even matter? Thanks SF

Thanks SF Actually the extra resin protects the foam and the paint work when you take down the lap before laminating the deck. Just make sure that you smooth the resin with your squeege to prevent any resin bumps. Aloha, Kokua
