What does anyone reccommend? Using POly resin. Presently using a half mask with the double-sized AOSafety R53HE-P100 carts. Goggles for eye protection but still has vent to let in fumes. Full face respirators??
Thanks.

I wonder how much the one like Wayne Lynch is wearing costs , and where you get them ??
After he’s done 30 plus years of making boards , I can see why … remember his comments in the video “Litmus” ?
Hey Chipfish,
I understand Wayne Lynch has an allergic reaction to TDI (Toluene Di-Isocyanate) which is a key ingredient to making P/U blanks. Painfull rashes are the outward signs to TDI exposure. I think we should all be cautious about our ingestion of TDI and MDI found in the shaping dust as it has quite a few negative effects to our system.
thanks for that George !!
…people look at me funny if I tell them I find the foam dust irritates me as much as resins do. But , it’s true ! [for me , anyway].
What you just wrote may explain why . I was hoping I wasn’t losing the plot [well , any more than I already have / sometimes do !]

Not sure where you are but I am just about to buy similar to what Wayne Lynch is wearing here in the uk.By far the best deal here is http://www.protecdirect.co.uk/List.asp?n=Tornado%20Respiratory%20Protection&i=12 which is the best part of £400 to £500 depending on what headtop you go for.Im considering full hood or integrated hardhat +visor +eardefenders as useful for construction jobs. Filters extra.
Do a search for powered respirators by Scott,Sundstrom,3M or Willson. Also available are systems for using a compressor to provide clean air.
Howzit Liki, There’s a guy selling them fro $ 72.00 on E-bay but that doesn’t include cartridges or prefilters. But you can get them at Fiberglass Hi. Aloha,Kokua
I wonder if it has anything to do with Wayne’s well publicized long term bout with Malaria.
